      From The Sentinel Files
      DEC. 4, 1923
MILWAUKEE - Stink bombs were planted almost simultaneously at two Milwaukee theaters, causing a hasy exit of patrons. Bottles filled with ill smelling chemicals were emptied at the New Crystal Theater, 178 2ns St,m and at the Pearl Theater, on Mitchell St. between 7th Ave. (S. 12th St.) and 8th Ave. (S. 13th St.) Charles Washichek, operator of both theaters, blamed union labor troubles for the incidents. Five theaters operated by Washichek have been picketed since January.

      THE RINGLING BROS.' CIRCUS
      ......RING No. 2.
......Robledillo was programed for the center ring, but The Four Nevaros, an exceedingly good wire act, had the place instead. One of the two girls did most of the work. She executed several striking tricks, going after them in much the same manner that Bird Millman does. One corking jump of no less than four feet from the wire into a barrel and aback to the wire again was the best. The act received its share of attention all the the time.
