      Wesley (Wenzel) Washecheck (orig. Vasicek) (1831-1896), b. Bohemia apparently came to Oklahoma City, OK, in 1884 laready. He was a tailor by trade. Wesley and his family came to America in 1867 from Bohemia landing in New York. Upon arriving they began their travel to where the offer of land would give them a new start. They spent time in Wisconsin, where their youngest daughter was born, then lived in Kansas and eventually moved to Oklahoma City, OK in 1884. With his wife, Teresa Reketski (1827-d.), they had 4 children, 2 born in Bohemia, one in NY and one in WI. They must have been among the first settlers in Oklahoma, known as 'Boomers."
